Moderation and reporting policy

This policy describes how QuestGlass moderates content and behavior: what you can report, how reports are triaged and reviewed, the enforcement actions available to us, the appeal path when we get something wrong, and how we handle emergencies and requests from authorities. Moderation exists to keep explorers, locals, and the service safe - it is applied proportionately, documented internally, and always subordinate to applicable law.

Last updated: July 5, 2026

  • Report profiles, messages, meetups, media, posts, comments, and suspicious pricing
  • Block users immediately if you do not want contact
  • Moderators may remove content, warn, suspend, preserve evidence, or escalate

What to report

Report harassment, stalking, scams, fake guide claims, suspicious pricing, unsafe meetups, hate, threats, impersonation, sexual exploitation, private information, illegal content, spam, malware, and content involving minors.

How reports are handled

Reports may be reviewed by authorized staff. We may inspect relevant account, profile, message, media, meetup, quest, post, report, block, and audit data where needed to investigate.

Possible actions

We may dismiss a report, ask for more context, remove content, restrict features, warn a user, suspend an account, disable an account, preserve evidence, or contact authorities where appropriate.

Appeals and mistakes

Users can contact support@questglass.com if they believe a moderation action was wrong. We may not disclose private reporter information, security details, or abuse-detection signals.

Enforcement ladder

Enforcement is proportionate to severity and history. Typical escalation: content removal with notice; a documented warning; temporary feature limits (posting, chat, meetup creation); temporary account suspension; permanent account closure. We skip steps without notice for severe harms including credible threats, sexual exploitation, child-safety violations, human trafficking indicators, doxxing, or fraud. Evasion of enforcement by creating new accounts is itself a violation leading to closure of the related accounts.

Requests from authorities

We respond to legally valid orders from courts and law-enforcement authorities in accordance with applicable law, and we verify the authority and scope of each request before acting. Where the law allows, we notify affected users of requests concerning their data. We may proactively refer content to authorities where we believe in good faith there is a risk to life or safety.

Emergencies

QuestGlass is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or local authorities first.
