This Safety Center explains the protections built into the platform, the practices we expect from every member, and the limits of what any app can guarantee. QuestGlass is not an emergency service, does not conduct background checks, and does not supervise meetups; treat every interaction with the same judgment you would use with any person you have just met.

Meet in public

Choose visible public locations, keep the first meetup short, and leave immediately if a plan feels unsafe, pressured, or different from what was agreed in chat.

Keep plans inside the app

Use QuestGlass chat for meetup details so you can report messages, accounts, suspicious pricing, or harassment with context.

No emergency service

QuestGlass is not an emergency response provider. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or local authorities.

Maps and routes are guidance

Routes, walking estimates, transit suggestions, and place information may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Check signs, official transit information, opening hours, weather, accessibility needs, and local conditions before relying on a route.

Protect your personal information

Do not share passport numbers, payment cards, passwords, home addresses, hotel room numbers, or live location with someone you do not trust.

Before you meet

  • Review the member's profile history and shared connections inside the app; be cautious with brand-new accounts that push to meet quickly.
  • Agree the meeting point inside chat so a record exists, and choose daylight hours and busy public places for a first meeting.
  • Tell someone you trust where you are going, with whom, and when you expect to be back.
  • Arrange your own transport to and from the meetup - never depend on a stranger for your return trip.

During a meetup

  • Stay in public view; do not move to private locations, vehicles, or short-term rentals with people you have just met.
  • Keep your phone charged, keep your personal belongings with you, and stay sober enough to make clear decisions.
  • Leave immediately if anything feels wrong - you owe no one an explanation. Trust your instincts over politeness.
  • Do not hand over passports, documents, deposits, or payments during any meetup.

If something goes wrong

  • In any emergency contact local emergency services first: 112 works across Turkey and the EU; use your local emergency number elsewhere.
  • Use in-app blocking to stop contact instantly; blocked users cannot message you or see your activity.
  • Report the account from chat, the profile, or the meetup screen - reports are reviewed by the moderation team under the Moderation Policy.
  • Preserve evidence: keep chat records inside the app rather than deleting them, so reports and any police process have what they need.

Scams and payments

Do not send money, crypto, gift cards, or deposits to people you meet through the app unless you are certain it is legitimate. Report suspicious pricing, pressure tactics, fake guide claims, and off-platform payment requests.
